Feeling Stuck in a Contract Role: Should I Leave or Stay for Better Opportunities?

I am working as a management trainee in a manufacturing company under contract. My manager told me that after the completion of one year, they would confirm my position. However, things are not going well for me as my senior executives have made me the office boy. Now, I want to leave the company. I spoke with the manager about the tasks given by the senior executives, but nothing has changed. I want to leave the company with contract experience. Some of my friends are saying that with contract experience, I will not get good opportunities. I am not sure what I should do now.
