Leaves After Completion Of The Probation Period

VP18
Dear All,
I am an employee in a Private Limited company since more than one and half year. I joined the company in Feb-2012. My probation period was of 6 months. How many leaves will I be eligible for in the current financial year(in terms of C/L, S/L, P/L)?
Regarding my question, I have gone through the past discussions; but, I could not get the clear answer. Kindly note that in current financial year, I have taken total 8 to 10 leaves.
Kindly guide me.
Thanks & Regards,
VP18.

Please refer the Leave Policy of your company with regards to CL/SL/PL, You are eligible for entire leave if you have worked from Jan 2013 till Dec 2013. Please be reminded if you have any un-availed CL/SL in your account will be automatically lapsed, only PL/EL is carried forward to the next year. The Leave Policy differs from company to company, but the period is Calendar Year i.e. Jan to Dec, so you are eligible for all leaves on prorate basis till your last working day in your company. I hope your query is resolved.

Thanx, Prashant & Saji.
I give you the brief background about my company. The company in which I am working is a start-up company. The company is under Bombay shop & establishment act & is located in Mumbai.
There is no clarity in my appointment letter regarding the leave policy. And there isn't any HR person in the company at present. Kindly guide me regarding the followings:
1. Are Leaves counted for the calender year only? or are they counted for the financial year(i. e. from Apr-13 to March-14) also? I require your valuable feedback as I am going to ask for the encashment of my not utilized PLs.
2. Is encashment of unutilzed PLs mandatory in a Private Limited company?
3. Is encashment of unutilized PLs done in the month of January or in the month of April?
Awaiting for valuable help and guidance.
Thanx & Regards,

Please find my answers in Block Letters,
Last but not the least It is always advisable to refer the Employee Handbook/SOP or check with higher authorities/seniors to have a wider view on the subject, as the forum can only guide you but it may differ with company policies.
