Supreme Court in its order dated 12.12.2013 (copy attached) has held that deaf & dumb government employees are also entitled to get conveyance allowance at par with blind employees since Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act 1995 does not differentiate between employees with different types of disabilities.
