What Is Leadership Function?

is there is difference between leadership function and leader\'s function??
as the function of leader is to motivate employes towords the achievement of organisational goals and provide good working conditions to them so that they are able to do work effectively.

A leadership function indicates what function a leader shall undertake.Thus the word 'leadership' gives quality of leadership to a function performed by a leader. For example forming a vision and guiding people to realize,is the leadership function.The words 'A leader's function' indicate the responsibility of a leader.The function (responsibility) of a leader is to provide a vision to the people and guidance to realize it.in the former case, the word 'function' assumes a verb form(visualizing) and in the latter form, the word function assumes the 'noun form' (responsibility).However , this is purely my understanding.
