Workplace Safety: How Do You Calculate the Right Number of Fire Extinguishers?

As per my knowledge, there is a calculation for determining the required number of fire extinguishers in the workplace based on the total area of the workplace. If anyone has this information, kindly share it for my reference.

These provisions empower the State Government to prescribe the measures required for extinguishing fires. In the Maharashtra Factory Rules, such provisions exist.
