Termination Letter Dilemma: Can a Company Really Withdraw It Once Issued?

moinakt
Can you please let me know whether a termination letter issued to a workman can be withdrawn from the company's end?
Job Seeker HQ
Yes, you can. Also, if you are withdrawing the letter, then you should reinstate the employee with full benefits.

Yes, of course. An employer has the right to withdraw the termination letter anytime during the notice period. However, it is not binding on the employee if such communication from the employer is received by them after the expiry of the notice period. It is also not binding on the employee to respond positively to the employer's action of withdrawing the termination letter because the intention of the employer behind revoking the termination may or may not be fair.
