Confused About PF Deductions for Skilled Workers in Delhi? Let's Clarify Together

ramit1416
As per the Government of Delhi, the minimum wage for a skilled worker is Rs. 361 per day. If the employer caps the basic wage at Rs. 6500 and a skilled worker is present for 24 days in a month, the PF deduction from the employee's side should be as per the CLRA:

1. Rs. 780
Or
2. Rs. 720

Please clarify which deduction is correct.

If the calculation is based on ₹6500, then a deduction of ₹720 is correct. What is causing the confusion?

Thank you.

PF is calculated according to the number of working days, and the deduction is Rs. 720.

It will be Rs. 780 - 12% of Basic, i.e., 12% on Rs. 6500 will be Rs. 780. Hope this clears your query.
