All the workmen must undergo medical check up by a general physician and all the drivers and operators must undergo vision test for which you must have to maintain the record. The vision check should be conducted by an ophthalmologist.

Is driver under the BOCW Act "building worker" as defined in section 2(e)?
If yes, you are correct in anwering the query.

thank you very much for your response, we are having practical problems in complying as turn over of employee is very high in project areas, i will be glad if u can suggest some tips.

Dear Sir,
The query is not a complete one. Hence I presumed it as a Transit Mixer Driver or Truck/Tractor Driver. That's the reason I mentioned it as Driver / Operator (Tower Crane, Mobile Crane, Tandem Vibrator Roller, etc). as a Building Worker and replied as above.
Further if the vehicle being operated within the construction premises, then obviously the driver must be considered as Building Worker.
