How Do You Write a Heartfelt Appreciation Letter for a Colleague's Hard Work?

Dear All, I am working with a reputed company, and recently, my company has shifted to new premises. One of my colleagues from the Admin department has done a great job throughout this process. So, we have decided to give him an appreciation letter for the same. Request you to please share a sample of the same if you have any.

Thanks & Regards, Megha

Let me recommend what I have been suggesting all along for requirements of this kind. Please write the appreciation letter on your own and upload it on this forum. Some seniors, like me, will correct it. Just recently, there was a similar request. On my recommendation, the poster tried on her own, and later, improvements were made. You can refer to that post: https://www.citehr.com/470884-advise...plans-eve.html.

In fact, your post also has a few mistakes. If you wish to know, I can show you where you need improvement. To avoid these mistakes, I recommend writing the posts on MS Word and then copying and pasting them on this forum.

Thanks,

Dear Megha, please be professional.

Nature of the Work

What was the nature of the work? What had he done? What were the steps he had taken to complete the work? How did he face the obstacles during the job? How much time had he taken to complete the work? How much value had he added to your organization?

All of the above are required to compose a professional appreciation letter. Without addressing these points, there will be no value in providing such recognition. By giving priority to these aspects, you can draft a well-crafted appreciation letter using appropriate professional language.

Thank you.
