To maintain the dignity of the family, if the girl opts for wrong way of lifestyle (having illegitimate relationship with others), the brother or father will kill the girl. This practice is known as honour killing. In some area to maintain the status of their family, the parents or brother of the girl will kill the girl who got married in inter-caste.
In some countries the Honour killing is accepted and there will no punishment for honour killing. (In Middle East Countries). But in India it is punishable offence.
Let us wait and watch what will be judgement for this Rohtak Honour killing.
