Navigating Benefits After a Worker’s Death: ESIC, PF, and LWF Guidance Needed

In my factory, one of the workers passed away while he was on leave. Could you please advise me on the benefits he will be entitled to under ESIC and PF?

Additionally, I would like to inquire if there are any benefits available from LWF, and if so, could you please guide me on the process to obtain these benefits?

Benefits for Deceased Worker's Family

His family will be entitled to the PF accumulation amount, PF pension (maximum for 3 dependent family members), cremation expenditure from ESIC, and 20 months' salary (maximum of Rs. 130,000/-) or actuals as per PF submission from EDLI.

From LWF, please confirm with your district ALC Office about the entitlement as it may vary from state to state.
