Struggling with Error Code 1 While Uploading Annexure-II on PF Portal – Any Tips?

Hi all, please help me with uploading the Annexure-II file on the PF web portal. I'm facing error code 1 for lines 1 to 20. File attached here.

Please check the help file available on the website. Otherwise, save the details on a pen drive and go to the PF office; they will assist you in uploading the same.

Please see the attached file of the error code and provide me with the correct solution.

First of all, the first employee named SANTAJIRAO, his father's name should be ABASAHEB instead of BABASAHEB.

The last row, i.e., Reason for leaving, should have a width of 1.

The gender column should also have a character width of 1 or spacing of 1.

Why, after employee 192 named Santosh, have you started writing "MR." before their name? It is not required.

Please correct the above mistakes, and then let me know if you are still having trouble uploading the file.

The simple and straightforward way to overcome this problem is: firstly, download ECR Version 5.0 from the EPFO site and then open it. You will find a simple option to fill in all the data. After filling in the data, you will generate a CVC file and upload it.

As per the error code, the data is not in the correct format. Please check the uploading file and correct it.

Error Code 001

"Data is not as per Annexure-II format (14 Fields separated by #~#) on line number 1."

If you share the recently uploaded file, I will correct it and send it back to you.

Dear Asmit, I am still facing the same problem after making corrections as per your suggestion. I have tried 9 times to upload this file. The error code list is attached here.

The text file you have uploaded has the wrong tilde sign. Also, please remove "Mr." before the employee's name. Kindly try to upload the text file I have attached.

Try uploading the attached file; surely your work will be done without error.

I have gone through your .txt file and found a query. In some places in the field name, you have written names like Mr. I suggest you remove "Mr." and write their names directly.

Employer e-Seva Software

In the Employer e-Seva software, an Annexure II structure file has been provided. You can download this file from e-Seva to get your company's data. You will then need to feed the remaining data and follow the given instructions.

I believe that in line 20 (MOHDKHAN), there is a "." symbol, which is causing an error while uploading.

Hi Jadhav, you have to ensure that there are no periods, commas, or any other symbols, and make sure there is no space before or after the name. Also, check the instructions provided online in PDF form for uploading Annexure II.
