Dear seniors
Please let me know
1. Any provision regarding female workers permissible or not permissible work to work in night shift under the factories act or factories rule (sate wise)?
2.Position in Shops and establishment act Regarding female worker working night shift?

Dear Hekarthik,
As per Section 66 (b) of Factories Act, the permissible women woking time is 6 am to 7 pm. But State Government is empowered to give exemptions as per requirement.
At any cost no female worker has not be engaged in between 10 pm to 5 am.

As per shop and establishment act :No young person or women shall be required or allowed to work in any establishment before 6am and after 7pm.
"Hence the above act stated in Shop and establishment is similar to Factory act "
