Would Companies Want To Have Regular Karate Classes For Employees?

Need feedback from the veterans here:
Would companies be open to organizing regular karate classes for employees on company premises?
A friend wants to start a corporate fitness solutions company and organize regular karate classes on company premises for employees.
Classes to be done by certified trainers, certificates to be awarded by recognized federations.
Benefits to employees include physical and mental fitness, more focus and energy and less stress.
No age restrictions and everyone (even those without any history of athletic activity) can join.
Looks like a promising idea to me.
Will appreciate any inputs/feedback. How do you think this idea would fare?
Thanks in advance.
Navya.

hi Navya,
A good concept. You would need to do a real hard marketing for this concept, since Karate is always linked and connected in peoples mind as "an art on how to bashup someone.", whereas in reallity its not but for self defence and self control.
Wish you all the best.

Dear Navya,
A novel concept like yoga and stress relieving classes. Employees generally expect employers to allocate time within the working hours for concepts like this and employers may find it difficult to accommodate it within working hours. It also depends on the fee your friend has in mind as it will add up to the CTC.
When you market this novel concept in my opinion you may have to sell the concept of value addition it is likely to bring to the organisation.
