I Was Asked In A Interview For A JAPANESE COMPANY" Since You Have Exp In Indian Companys So You Will Bring INDIAN CULTURE IN OUR COMPANY TOO. What Would Be My Reply

kamal tanwer
Dear Seniors/Friends,

Recently, I had an interview with a Japanese company located in New Delhi, India. In the final round of the interview, the interviewer mentioned that since I have experience only in Indian companies, I may bring Indian culture to their company as well. What would you say about this matter?

Furthermore, the interviewer asked me several tricky questions to which I was unable to provide answers. I applied for the position of ADMIN EXECUTIVE and have a total of 3 years of experience. Now, I am required to go back for the final round of the interview.

I kindly request you to provide answers to the following questions:

1. How can you convince us to select you, considering your lack of experience in Japanese companies, and if chosen, how will you incorporate Indian culture into our company?

2. As an Admin Executive, what innovative contributions do you plan to bring to the company?

3. What strategies do you believe will make you a successful individual?

4. Given your exceptional academic background, why did you choose to pursue a career in Administration instead of HR?

I would greatly appreciate your assistance, and any feedback you can provide would be immensely helpful to me.

Please share your responses to the above questions.

1. How can we select you since you have no experience in the Japanese company, and if we select you, then you will bring Indian culture into this company too?

*a) Methods of administration do not change because the headquarters of the company are located in a specific country.
b) Indian culture is not inherently bad.
c) Diversity brings dynamism, so every company should have a diverse workforce.*

2. Being an Admin Executive, what new things will you do for the company?

*First, I need to understand how the administration works here. It is too early to comment at this stage. It will take about 2-3 months for a gap analysis.*

3. How will you become a successful person?

*(a) By meeting the deliverables attached to my job
(b) By growing professionally and financially*

4. Since you have a wonderful academic background, why do you want to go into Administration instead of HR?

*Administration and HR go hand in hand. One complements the other. Administration is the foundation of every organization. I will be able to add value by strengthening this foundation.*
