Understanding SKIP, PULSE, Gallop, and More: Can You Clarify These HR Terms?

manpreetchawla10@gmail.com
Could you please help in defining SKIP, PULSE, Gallop, 1 on 1 feedback, EWS, and PMS? I have a little idea about these topics. For example, SKIP is for Skip Level Meeting, EWS stands for Early Warning System, and PMS refers to Performance Management System. However, I am unsure about what Gallop and 1 on 1 feedback stand for and how these terms are used.

I would appreciate it if you could share any Word Doc or Excel file based on it or provide your valuable thoughts on the matter. I am eagerly waiting for your earliest reply.

SKIP: Simple Key Internet Portals

PULSE: Program for Understanding Leadership, Service, and Exchange

EWS: Emergency Warning System, Employee Work Station [IBM]

PMS: Performance Management System

1 ON 1 FEEDBACK: A very useful tool for maintaining open lines of communication and supporting employee development at all levels in an organization. It provides candid information to a fellow co-worker, direct report, and even upward to a supervisor regarding task accomplishments and performance, ultimately creating a culture where open communication thrives.
