Now, I am working in a private company for 3 years and 8 months. Previously, I worked at HCL Infosystems Ltd for 8 months. Now, I am going to join a big MNC company next month. In my current company, I will receive all the letters. However, at HCL, I resigned and served the notice period, but I didn't follow up on my exit paperwork. Now, I need to obtain a relieving and experience letter from HCL for the 9 months I worked there. I have contacted the HR department, but they mentioned that nearly 4 years have passed since my resignation, making it difficult. At HCL, I only have an appointment letter and a relieving email. Apart from these, I don't have any other documents, not even salary slips or bank statements. Now, I have to submit all documents for background verification. Please advise me on what to do.
