Stuck Without Relieving and Experience Letters from HCL: How Can I Resolve This Urgent Issue?

Now, I am working in a private company for 3 years and 8 months. Previously, I worked at HCL Infosystems Ltd for 8 months. Now, I am going to join a big MNC company next month. In my current company, I will receive all the letters. However, at HCL, I resigned and served the notice period, but I didn't follow up on my exit paperwork. Now, I need to obtain a relieving and experience letter from HCL for the 9 months I worked there. I have contacted the HR department, but they mentioned that nearly 4 years have passed since my resignation, making it difficult. At HCL, I only have an appointment letter and a relieving email. Apart from these, I don't have any other documents, not even salary slips or bank statements. Now, I have to submit all documents for background verification. Please advise me on what to do. I am in an emergency situation. Please reply and provide guidance.

Hey, since you said that you have served your entire notice period and that you also have the relieving mail, I don't think your new employer should have any queries regarding the same. Your current employer hired you based on the relieving mail, appointment letter, and your resignation letter (acceptance copy), so this should not be an issue for you or your new employer.

I still suggest that you should talk to the HR of your new employer and try to work out things mutually by explaining your concerns.

Thank you for your posting. I would like to inform you that I have only a 'goodbye' email, which I sent to my reporting manager, and I have a scanned copy of my appointment letter. However, that manager is still working in the company. I had a conversation with him, but he is not willing to provide the letter now. I don't know what to do. I worked for 8 months.

In my current company, I have all the necessary documents. The new company is requesting a relieving letter and service letter from the previous company for background check verification.

Try once again with HCL through your past acquaintances who must still be working in HCL. Provide details of the date of joining, date of relieving, and a copy of the last email to enable them to trace the record. Probably, HCL must be looking for some endorsement through a known source due to the lapse of four years.

I was an employee of HCL Infosystem Ltd from March 2009 to March 2010 in the profile of a Network Field Engineer. My employee ID is 417005, but I only have the offer letter in my email. I do not have any other documents. How can I obtain all the related documents necessary to join another company? I have tried to contact them multiple times, but I have not received any response.
