Dear Puja,
Training is conducted to increase the skill levels of the employees. Skill levels are enhanced so that employees can effectively execute their jobs and meet individual performance measures.
Before training, it is important to conduct a "Gap Analysis" through pre-training activities. Many training professionals focus more on delivery and style; however, the real strength of a trainer lies in pre-training activities.
After the training, you can assess whether there has been an increase in performance measures or not. The change in ratios itself conveys a lot.
