Regarding Extension Of Notice Period Of An Employee Who Has Resigned

Dear All,

One of our employees has resigned from the job. Due to some reasons, there is a delay in relieving this employee. The resigned employee is requesting a letter stating that his notice period has been extended and he will be relieved on further dates. This letter will be submitted by him to the company he is joining. Kindly assist me in preparing a letter for this purpose.

A resignation letter is simply an official written communication from the employee about their unwillingness or inability to continue employment with the employer, along with a request for relief and settlement. It is not that you will score fewer marks or be penalized for grammatical mistakes in the resignation letter. Just express your thoughts in simple words and submit the resignation letter to your employer. It is as simple as the way you have phrased the question for this forum.
