Transitioning from Software to Manufacturing HR: What Are My New Responsibilities?

Hi, I have joined a small manufacturing company recently as an HR professional. Initially, I worked in the software industry as an HR, where I was mostly dealing with recruitments. Hence, I find things are quite different. I need to know the actual roles and responsibilities in a manufacturing company. Please advise.

5. Employee Engagement Activities
6. Safety Precautions

Please check the files to ensure all employees have appointment letters and are filling in details. Moreover, in manufacturing, you need to take care of unskilled employees. Unskilled employees frequently inquire about their salary issues even though we are doing everything right because they are not aware of the policies. They know they are working and they require their salary; they will not worry about all our policies.

It is better to find out the expenditure of human capital like stationery, consultant fees, tea & water consumption, rent, fuel, power, housekeeping, security services, and statutory.
