I have recently joined as a Trainee Executive HR in a manufacturing company. Could someone provide me with the roles and responsibilities for an HR Executive?

Please ask this question politely to your immediate boss or colleagues about HR practices in your organization. As you are a beginner in HR, try to delve into all areas of HR in-depth, i.e., HR establishment, recruitment, training & development, manpower planning, performance appraisal, welfare activities, and HR policies, etc. Keep patience and observe the things happening in your organization. Try to immerse yourself in the culture. Work hard with a positive attitude. Last but not least, take care of your human capital very sensitively.

Best wishes for your future.

Praveen

HR Executives in many organizations function as the nerve center in many firms. In small firms, HR Executives manage not only HR activities but also other statutory responsibilities such as Labor Department issues, licenses, and the Boss's personal assistant. The duties and responsibilities of an HR Executive depend on the size and type of the firm. Depending on the workload and manpower available, the duties would be allocated among the HR staff in the establishment.

Roles and Responsibilities of an HR Executive

Precisely, HR activities commence from obtaining registration and licenses, recruitment, payroll, welfare, legal matters, shop floor work study, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, and other aspects of manpower management.
