It seems your organization is governed by the Shops and Establishments Act. Before framing any rules regarding leave, you must be familiar with the provisions detailed in this Act concerning leave. You cannot establish any policies or rules that contradict the existing law. Even if you establish conflicting rules, the provisions of the Shops Act will take precedence.

It may vary from organization to organization. Leaves would typically be structured as follows:

- 1.5 Paid Leave/Earned Leave per month (18 days per year)
- 12 Casual Leave
- 07 Sick Leaves (Non-ESI)

Can anyone provide me with the leave policy format for a service sector company? Is it different based on location, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad? Or can we create a centralized leave policy for our organization since our head office is in Delhi?
