Training Needs Analysis in the Health Care Sector
I am working in the Health Care Sector and now I need to conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the entire staff, which consists of approximately 1500 employees. Through the performance appraisal (PA) forms, I have identified certain behavioral aspects that need to be addressed. However, there are several departments that have not mentioned any behavioral aspects for training for their respective employees.
I considered conducting the TNA through observation, but when I approached the mentioned departments, they provided excuses of time constraints and the busy environment in the hospital. The Heads of Departments (H.O.Ds) and Senior Managers also expressed that they do not have enough time to complete the TNA forms.
I kindly request your suggestions on the next appropriate steps to be taken without disrupting the hospital's operations.
