New Tobacco Warnings: How Will These Changes Impact You Starting April 2013?

Dear friends, starting from April 1, 2013, it will be mandatory to display new pictorial warnings on tobacco products. I am attaching a copy of the Cigarettes & Other Tobacco Products (Packaging & Labelling) Amendment Rules 2012 for your reference, along with soft copies of the new pictorial warnings.

Thank you for the update. Also, thank you for the pictures. One of my friends used to eat GUTKHA. He was diagnosed with mouth cancer and was hospitalized for 3 months. After the operation, he was not allowed to consume solid food for two months and was fed a liquid diet through a straw. He has since returned to his business and now works for anti-tobacco campaigns. He describes this experience as a rebirth.

Prevention is Always Better Than Cure

We must collaborate on anti-tobacco initiatives.
