Seeking Real User Feedback on Payroll and Attendance Systems for Large Workforce

We have a workforce of over 400 employees and are currently in need of the following:

a) Payroll System
b) Attendance System

I am seeking feedback from end-users rather than vendors or software providers. Vendors and software providers, please refrain from responding to this message. I am specifically interested in hearing from actual users and companies utilizing such applications.

I appreciate your concern when you have specifically asked for feedback from users and not vendors. I am a freelance consultant as well as a user too.

Firstly, irrespective of the industry, payroll and attendance logic remains the same. What you are going to configure depends on the terminology used in your organization.

Since you are currently a very small organization, you can initially go for a basic system that is scalable and can handle your future needs as your employees or organization grows. Look for the following things:

1) Is the software capable of handling all the Indian rules with minimal customization?

2) Is the software scalable?

3) Is the attendance module able to integrate the data? For example, if you have a physical card access system, the data from the card machine should be easily able to migrate to the application.

Also, consider future needs for add-on modules that are scalable for a complete HRMS solution if required. This will ensure that you don't have to migrate the complete software or hardware to another platform.
