We have 03 security supervisors and 07 security guards deployed through a private agency at our Nagpur plant. Please guide us as an employer on the statutory formalities to be completed under the Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981.

Please check whether the agency deployed by you is registered under the Guard Board. Collect the PF and ESI Registration Certificate from the agency. Every month, ask the agency to submit the PF & ESI Remittance Details (for every individual) with the challan copy duly acknowledged by the appropriate authorities and the pay sheet to you. The pay sheet submitted by the security agency must follow the Minimum Wages from time to time issued by the Maharashtra Government.
