Dear Sacheen,
Not to find fault with what you have shared however, there are two important shortcomings in the check list.
One is that your check list does not talk anything about heading of the letter. You get the contents of the bottle you need to uncork it. So is about business letter also. To know about the contents, reader first checks the heading of the letter. Very few persons are able to give right heading.
The check list starts with first point as "Cut needless words and needless information." Ok, fine. Cut the unwanted information. But then it is also important to check "have I given needed information?" Many times the needed information is left out. This in turn raises the queries in the mind of recipient.
I will conduct the public workshop on "Advance Business Writing Skills" at Bangalore, Hyderabad. You may
click here to read the brochure of the workshop. Some another training company of Pune will organise the same workshop at Pune also. You may nominate your staffs at any of this place.
Thanks,
