There are three types of leave:

- **EL (Earned Leave):** 1 day for every twenty working days in a calendar year
- **CL (Casual Leave):** 7 days for every calendar year
- **SL (Sick Leave):** 7 days for every calendar year

Leave Pay Calculation Formula

The calculation for leave pay should be based on the formula:
salary / 26 * number of leave days to be paid

Thank you.

Calculating Total Annual Leave

To calculate the total annual leave and determine whether an employee has surplus or deficit days, one can use a formula. Typically, annual leave is calculated based on the number of days in a month (28, 30, or 31) multiplied by a factor like 2.5. By applying this formula and comparing the result to the required annual leave entitlement, one can ascertain if the employee has exceeded the allotted days or is eligible for additional leave.

Dear Amrita,

There are three types of leave:

1. EL - Earned Leave: 1 day for every twenty working days in a calendar year.
2. CL - Casual Leave: 7 days for every calendar year.
3. SL - Sick Leave: 7 days for every calendar year.

Leave must be calculated as follows: salary / 26 * number of leave days to be paid.
