Can a person who has applied for PF withdrawal, since his present company does not have this facility, change this application to transferring to his new employer after the new employer gets registered with PF?
A person can apply for the transfer of their accumulated EPF amount, along with details of FPF/EPS, into their present PF account instead of opting for withdrawal. In this regard, the completed application for transfer, i.e., FORM-13 (Revised), may be submitted to the new employer for further processing.
As per the rule, you have to give a declaration that you have not been employed in any factory/establishment to which the EPF Act applies for a continuous period of not less than 2 months (i.e., 60 days) immediately preceding the date of your PF withdrawal application.
