I am working on a project to increase retention among IT employees. I need to find the best retention strategies. Any and all opinions and advice are appreciated! Thanks!

In my view, the organization needs to provide a stimulating work environment where the employee can learn, grow, and contribute to the value of the organization with due recognition thereof. This means you need to provide opportunities for employees to learn through training, develop through mentoring and coaching, and allow them adequate freedom to innovate in their work, adding value to the organization and recognizing their contributions.

Nowadays, in the IT industry, it is very difficult to devise any retention policy that can hold back employees for long. The industry is highly competitive now. However, the name, values, and career concerns of the IT company will pay off in the long run. A good work culture also weighs on the minds of the employees along with recognition and rewards.

You could have given a little more information, such as why you are asking this query. Are you a student or a professional? Are you a consultant? What is the present attrition rate in your company? What is the latest attrition rate in the IT industry in your country, and so on? You have not properly disclosed your name either.
