Connecting with Community Members

Have you been able to connect with the members you have been learning from or contributing to their growth? Please tell us if there are any roadblocks for you to network in this community.

I found this page with the appreciate count effective as it shows me who appreciated my work. This will allow me the option to seek feedback from them if I want to work further on what they appreciated. This is a very important form of networking for me. It will help me grow my knowledge level and connect with those who believe in co-learning. Tell us what is working for you and how many different ways do you want us to make it happen for you.

Dear Ms. (Cite Contribution), it is great to see your involvement and innovative ideas being implemented in this forum. Whatever support you expect from us, I am ready to give. I am involving myself in this forum to give guidance to others in whatever subject I know, which I did not get in my early days. It gives me some sort of mental satisfaction.

Strangely, that was the reason why this community was started. I was doing some research on certain HR issues and couldn't find any relevant help or anyone to talk to.

The Importance of Professional Networking

Professional networking is important, but it has been redefined over the years. Knowing someone is not enough; it is important for the person to know why they should know you. This drives us to create value for everyone we wish to connect with. Years ago, Samvedan advised me to remain focused on my efforts and let the results occur naturally.
