How Encouragement and Guidance Can Boost Student Research Efforts

akhilesh dubey
Dear Nashbramhall Sir, Thank you for your guidance and feedback on the paper I prepared. I am planning to present this research paper at a national conference. I truly appreciate the time and effort you took to review it and provide suggestions for the necessary changes to ensure that the paper is suitable for a national-level conference.

Encouragement for Students

I would like to request everyone here, especially students, to conduct research and development first rather than seeking direct answers or pre-prepared content. After conducting research, feel free to ask for suggestions and advice on how to accomplish the specific task. Please help yourself and seek advice from seniors on the topic.

Thank you.

I absolutely agree with your last line: "...do R&D first, and then ask for suggestions and advice...". Like the saying goes: "God helps those who help themselves." But I think our citeHR members are much more considerate than HIM  - many members answer just about any query by new members, without any attempt to alert/guide them. I think some sort of a checking mechanism for new members while they post their threads needs to be put into place - just a thought.

You have taken a very good step in making an attempt before getting it vetted by an expert like Shri Narasimhan. By doing this, you will be more familiar with your paper. The first creation was yours, and the refinement is a revision. As Stephen Covey says, "All things are created twice: first in the mind and then in actual." In your case, since it has been reviewed, you will have a better understanding of your paper.

It is great to hear from you about the successful presentation of your paper at the National Conference. Obviously, our learned members are ready to help the new members, but initially, the new members must come up with their own materials and request guidance from seniors. If anyone seeks full materials from others, then they cannot excel in the subject.

Further, you can share the synopsis (not the entire content) of your paper that you presented at the National Conference with our members.
