Can an Employee Take Leaves During the Notice Period?

Can an employee take their remaining leaves while serving the notice period? Or can an employee adjust their leaves during the notice period?

It is at the discretion of the company whether to allow remaining leaves to be adjusted against the notice period, but usually, they don't allow it.
