Is My Provident Fund Paid in Installments? Confused About a Smaller Payout

Gurzie
Hi experts. I have worked in my last organization for two years and left in 2010. Recently, I applied for my provident fund in March. I received the amount for my PF just two days back in my account. However, the amount I received is much less than what I estimated. I want to know if there is a possibility that the PF is paid out in two installments into our accounts. If so, when can I expect the second installment to arrive?

Thanks

Probably, it is due to the fact that 8.33% of the employer's contribution is credited to the Pension Account. Check with the P.F. Department.

You will get two credits for PF withdrawal: one credit for EPF (your contribution + Employer Contribution) and the second for EPS. Please check your account. If you received only one amount, then check with the PF office for the second amount.
