Resolve Conflict And Improve The Productivity

Imagine yourself as the HR Manager of a steel company and you find that for members of the production team in your organisation are in conflict and this has affected the productivity of the team. What steps will you take to resolve the conflict and improve the team productivity?

Why they are in conflict that you have not mentioned. Is the conflict because of difference in caste/race, age, gender, education qualification, lack of role clarity etc. If it is because of perceptions then you have to mention what are the perceptions of both the sides.
Secondly, what production manager has done to resolve this conflict? Is he also a part of the conflict?
