Confused About Professional Tax Deductions in Chennai? Need Help with Forms!

I am being deducted professional tax for the year 2011-2012 as an employee, but the company is not registered for professional tax. Could you please inform me about the form number and provide a copy of the form for payment? (Chennai Corporation)

Guidance on Professional Tax Registration

If you are within the limits of a corporation, approach the corporation division office where your office or workplace (head office) is located. Otherwise, visit the panchayat office. Meet the concerned revenue officer if it is a corporation, or the concerned clerk in the case of a panchayat. They will guide you through the registration formalities. After that, you can regularly make payments through them only.
