Career Dilemma: Should I Stick with Project Coordination or Transition to HR?

Dear Seniors, I have completed my MBA in HR, but I have been working as a project coordinator at a Translation and Localization company since February 2011. Now, I am seeking a job change. Please advise me on whether I should pursue a similar role or transition into an HR-related position.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your reply. My work experience and work profile are as follows:

 Currently working at Lingua IT International (LIT) since January 2011 as a Project Coordinator.

Job Profile:

• Making schedules for the project, keeping the client side in view
• Contacting a pool of translators to outsource tasks
• Ensuring translations are completed by translators
• Going through the proofreading process to ensure quality
• Delivering quality work to the client, meeting deadlines
• Maintaining a pool of translators (through recruitment and selection)
• Maintaining detailed status of various projects in various languages
• Client coordination

 Worked as a Training and Operation Executive at Graviss Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Baskin Robbins) from September 2010 to December 2010.

Job Profile:

• Ensuring that the company's SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is implemented and maintained in each outlet
• Evaluating crew members based on the SOC (Skill Observation Checklist) and providing training to new and existing crew members if required
• Providing training to crew regarding Standard Operating Procedures, customer service, communication, sales, etc.
• Informing outlets about offers and following up

A career is strictly a matter of personal aspirations and abilities. Based on the above skill sets, you can move into training/hiring (in HR) or operations. For HR, you may need to choose relevant courses based on the field you enjoy the most.
