Understanding Employee PF Contributions: Is There a Pension Scheme Split Too?

callmekg
My query is regarding PF contribution from the employee. If I have gone through the employer's contribution, there is a further bifurcation of contribution as a pension scheme and PF. I just need to know if the same bifurcation is in the employee's contribution too.

There is no bifurcation in employee contribution. However, as for employer contribution, it is divided as 8.33% and 3.67%.

I want to expand my company. Now, since the members are going to be more than 20, I need complete details about PF. I tried reading the PF Act, but I am not able to understand it. Kindly help me with the detailed procedure.

Hello Seniors, I have some queries regarding PF. At the time of PF withdrawal, can we receive our pension amount, or is it compulsory that we get it only after the completion of 10 years of service?

Once the employee strength reaches 20 or more, it is mandatory for PF enrollment. What details do you need? Are you looking for information on contributions or benefits?

You can withdraw your pension amount along with PF. All that you need to submit is both Form 10C & Form 19.

Query on PF Contribution for Small Organizations

I want to know if the employee strength is less than 20 and is not registered in the PF account, can that organization deduct PF from the salary and deposit it later when registered altogether?

Thank you for giving your precious time. I wanted to ask because I am working in a newly formed company, which is a part of one organization. Now, this company is yet to be registered with a PF account, and there are already 20 employees in the company. So, do they need to register with the PF and then deduct the PF, right? Until then, do they need to give employees their proposed salaries?
jeevarathnam
If you are planning to enroll with PF, then deduct from employees. But make sure to register shortly. Otherwise, don't deduct from employees as they may ask for the PF number.

Before completion of 10 years, you can only get the PF and Pension amount by submitting Form 19 and 10C. If you have completed 10 years, the pension amount will be accounted for on a monthly basis.

I want to know when PF is applicable. In which case will PF be applicable - when a person's salary is more than 6500 or less than 6500?

Thank you.

I need to ask one more thing: are there different accounts for the Provident Fund, Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, and Pension Scheme? Or do the contributions go to the same account?
