Dear Seniors,
Regarding the above subjected matter that some institutes provides two years post graduate diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and some, the same course in one Year.
I have a query.
Is both the courses have the same value ?
Also the two year course is equivalent to MBA in HR?
Kindly clarify the matter.

Yes, but you know the value of Diploma Holder in Engineering and Degree Holder in engineering. same here as.
and second thing is that in 2 year course it may be full time or external but you will learn lots of thing and lessons of management including other field. because as a HR person he should know all areas of management at least basic Idea. in 1 year you will learn only thing related to your syllabus. but if you will take admission for 2 year program, you will learn small things. presentation, business strategies, managements, plannings all things.
finally depends upon you, if you are currently working then you can go for 1 year.

Hi Chinchu,
almost syllabus is same for all. only they divided by names only.. same in all you will learn first management basic and finally you will learn related to your specialization.
Dont think on that, first decide which specialization you want to do?
if HR then you can appear for MBA or MPM. thats recognized and will give benefit to get government job also. because; most of government opportunities have and they offers good salary for freshers also. and finaly prefer MBA or MPM candidates.
