Issue with Payment Cycle and ECR Upload
1. Our payment cycle is from 21st March to 20th April. If a new employee joins our organization after the 20th of the month, we cannot process their salary for the joining month. We proceed with their salary in the following month. However, in ECR updating, the system does not accept Form 5 data without the employee's PF contribution. What should we do in this situation? Please provide your suggestions.
Termination Due to Prolonged Absences
2. Sometimes we have to terminate employees due to prolonged absences of 15 to 20 days. In such cases, we send a termination letter and do not pay their salary for that month. Since the employee is terminated in the same month, how can we submit their Form 10 data in ECR updating?
Please advise accordingly.
