Is Being a Personal Assistant in the Sugar Industry a Good Career Move for Me?

Hi Friends, I have completed an MBA in Finance in 2011. Now, I have secured a job as a Personal Assistant to the GM in the Sugar Industry.

Career Path Evaluation

I have two doubts:
1. Is this a good career path?
2. Are there opportunities for career growth for a PA?

In my opinion, the only limit for a human is the sky. As a personal assistant, I am not sure about the type of company you work for and its profile, along with your Terms of Reference (TOR). However, as someone who started from zero and is now working as a Human Resource generalist at the UN, I can say that if you work hard, nothing is impossible for you to achieve. Do not worry and keep moving forward.

Secondly, you are a Personal Assistant and not a 'Personnel Assistant.' It is good at present for initiation, but try to find another job in your field while working. If you feel comfortable with UH after working, in the coming seasons, they may transfer you to the Finance & Accounts section, which will be beneficial for you.
