There are two ways to obtain these formats. One is to visit the Microsoft website and download the templates. Another method is equally simple. If you have Office 2007 or 2010, just open MS Excel, then click on the Microsoft icon located at the top left corner. You will see the first option as "New." Click on this option to access a wide variety of templates, including inventory templates (clicking will redirect you to the Microsoft website).
