How Have Recent Changes in Uttarakhand's Minimum Wages Affected Your Workplace?

Dear friends, I am attaching two notifications:

1. Notification dated 21st February 2012 increasing minimum wages (basic wages & DA) in engineering units from 1st February 2012 to 31st July 2012.

2. Notification for an increase in variable DA in specified establishments from 1st April 2012 to 30th September 2012, from Rs. 1,432 per month to Rs. 1,612 per month.

Notification of Minimum Wages Effective from 6th March 2013

By order of the Labour Department Uttarakhand and DLC Haldwani, the notification of minimum wages is effective from 6th March 2013. We have also received a copy of the notification from the DLC Haldwani Office. Additionally, news regarding its implementation has been published in the newspaper.
