Need Help Crafting a Project Synopsis on Employee Satisfaction at Sukam Power System Ltd.

I have a complete project on the title submitted above, but I need to prepare a synopsis selecting a few points and a format as per my institute, which consists of:

Title of the Project

• Statement about the problem – Clearly define the problem in terms of the nature, size, and scope of the project that you will study in your project work.

• Objectives and scope of the study – Reasons for selecting the topic have to be explained along with the applicability or usefulness of the project idea. What contribution the project can make in the selected organization or in similar situations should be identified and stated.

• Methodology – It is necessary to explain the criteria for the selection of sample size if a survey is to be undertaken. Statistical methods that would be used for the same should be mentioned. A questionnaire that would be used to undertake the project work should be prepared on a Likert scale. Methods that would be used for classification and interpretation of the data should be identified and mentioned.

• Chapterisation scheme – A brief outline of the chapters to be included in the project report.

If anyone could help me with the above things to be fulfilled, then I shall be highly obliged.

Could you please tell us how you prepared the project without writing the synopsis? Or was the project report obtained from another student?

Yes, you are absolutely right. I have asked one of my friends to provide me with a project on HR. As I am a student doing an MBA in correspondence, I cannot devote enough time to prepare a project of my own. Moreover, we are not provided with any faculty to guide us further here in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Therefore, I am working on the same project.

I am an MBA student, just like you, completing my course through correspondence. I, too, have issues finding a faculty guide or any guide (subject matter expert) to supervise and help me complete my project. I'm interested to know if someone has agreed to be your project guide and how you found that person.

Secondly, with no offense, I was also curious to know how you will manage to answer questions during your project viva without having done anything practically by yourself...?

In addition to this, review the guidelines provided by your university for preparing your research project. These guidelines should include information on writing a synopsis as well. We often overlook these guidelines, but from my personal experience, I can tell you that they prove very useful.

If you have a project guide or supervisor, seek their help as well. If you encounter any difficulties or have confusion about a specific point or topic, feel free to ask your questions on this forum. However, I recommend searching the forum first to find answers. The members here are very helpful, but they value the effort you put in on your own.

Most importantly, read - read a lot of research articles about your research topic to gain direction. Befriend the Google search engine :) Try using [Google Scholar](http://scholar.google.com/schhp?hl=en).

Hi, I am a student of MBA in HR, 3rd semester from SMU. I want to know about Project Synopsis submission. Can anyone send me a project synopsis on "Job Satisfaction Survey at XYZ Organization" to help me submit my synopsis to the university? Project Synopsis Format

The synopsis needs to be prepared with the following components:
- Should be approximately 500 words
- Should have an introduction
- Should outline the methodology to be used
- Should mention the tools/techniques to be used for data analysis
- References and bibliography need to be given

After the synopsis, I need to submit the draft project work, and the format is below:

Draft Project Format

The draft should constitute the following:
- Title of the project
- Introduction
- Literature review/related research outcomes (a brief review of similar or related studies conducted elsewhere, should not be more than 500 words)
- Description of study methodology
- Work done: visits to the company; list of functionaries met; documents received from the company; registers and files seen; observations made; field visits; number of samples collected/questionnaires filled; books, sites, journals, magazines referred

Final Project Format

The final project report should consist of the following components:
- Cover page
- Title page
- Acknowledgement
- Bonafide Letter (from the company where the project was undertaken)
- Table of contents
- List of Tables & List of Figures
- List of Symbols, Abbreviations, and Nomenclature
- Executive Summary

Chapters:
- Introduction
- Project details
- Title of the project
- Aims and objectives of the study
- Problem statement
- Scope of the study
- Significance of the Study
- Literature review/related research outcomes (should not be more than 500 words)
- Methodology used: Data collection method, research tools used, sampling methodology, validity of the data
- Data analysis and interpretation/Research findings
- Recommendations and conclusions
- Limitations of the study and scope for further research if any

References/Bibliography

Format for Bibliography:
Books: Author's or Editor's Names, Title of the Book, Place of Publication, Publisher, Year of Publication, Page number
