What is your qualification? If you have a Diploma in Material Management (DMM), then please go through the books related to that course. Whether you have a Diploma or not, what you should be doing is visiting a site in your nearby area. This site should be a major infrastructure project like a flyover bridge or a major housing society, etc. Go there and talk to the stores in charge. You will gain a fair idea of the nature of that job. Ask the stores person about the kind of mistakes that occur during the course of work.
