Dear Satish,
The course you are referring to is run by NIIT Imperia where the award is conferred by IIM Lucknow (Noida campus)
If you're thinking of taking the admission, the only person who can help you is YOU!
Why?
Because no one knows you, your current situation, and your future dreams & ambitions as you do. So, if you want to know whether the course will be helpful in your career, you need to first figure out what it is that you want from your career. Because, if you don't get that clarity, then you will be chasing marquee brand courses with the delusion that they will advance your career.
On the surface of it, any course from the IIM stable will be of help. But, depending on where you are in your career, those advantages will vary. A course will only at best add between 5 - 10% advantage for a candidate. Even a Harvard course will at best get the candidate to interview. From there on, all that matters is what they've done in their life, their achievements, etc
So, first figure out what you want your career to be. Assess where you are today in relation to that. Then, do a gap analysis to ascertain what else you need to do to give yourself the best shot within the timeframe you set for yourself. And, if in all this, the IIM course fits in, then you will be crazy for not doing it. And, if it doesn't fit is, and you have some spare time & money with you, you will be crazy for not doing it. Because, the truth is that only in India we do courses to further our careers. Elsewhere in the western world, we do courses to learn, become better persons, and live more abundant lives!
