How Do I Create Effective HR Policies for a Small Firm with Limited Benefits?

I have joined a company this week as an Administrator. My role here is to handle the entire office, admin, and HR. Also, it's a small non-private firm that has only 15 employees, so they do not have any HR Department as such. Hence, I have been asked to formulate new HR Policies, Rules & Regulations for the company.

They provide 15 national holidays, Casual leaves - 7, and Sick Leaves - 8. They do not have any provision for Provident Fund, Medical Insurance, LTA, etc. The employers are very concerned about punctuality and discipline in the office. I will be highly obliged if I could get some suggestions for the same. Kindly reply asap.

Drafting Company Policies

Drafting company policies requires a complete understanding of the company's strategic business objectives, including its vision and mission. I suggest that you either outsource this task to a local consultant or search the CiteHR database for sample policies. Kindly modify them according to your company's business objectives.

Don't forget to engage in discussions with your management while drafting policies. Once they are finalized, please educate your employees about the policies that have been formulated. I need HR policies, rules, and circulars, as I am going to implement these newly in my company. There are currently no HR policies or anything of the sort in my company, so I want to start HR policies from scratch. Please help me.
