It is not possible since they have different agencies where right from the registration process, TIN, sales tax, and service tax are different. Additionally, when IT returns are filed, the salary heads distributed will be shown separately for each agency.
For a group of companies, it can be the same even though they have branches all over the country. However, if they are registered under different names, then separate PF Codes, ESI Codes, Sales Tax, Service Tax, and other registrations are required.
Dear Bhaskar, even though it is a group company, we still need to obtain separate codes for PF and ESI for each respective company. Additionally, if a company has branches nationwide, they must acquire separate sub-codes for each respective state.
Example of Group Company Codes

If these are two different entities, having different names, payroll, registration, P&L account, IT returns, etc., even if under the same owner, it is better to have different PF Employer codes for obvious reasons.
Using a Common PF Code for Multiple Establishments

It is always advisable to have different code numbers for the benefits of employees, particularly for the sake of pensionary benefits, etc.
