January Returns Deadline: Are You Ready to Submit Your Forms on Time?

Submission of Returns for January

This is the month of January, and we have to submit our Half-Yearly Return in Form XXIV as per Contract Labour Rules, the Annual Return in Form III as per Minimum Wages Rules (both to the Contract Labour Act License Issuing Authority), and the Annual Return in Form XXIX as per BOCW Rules (to the Registering Officer under the BOCW Act). I hope everybody has started working on that.

The above returns are to be submitted by the contractors who have obtained the license under the Contract Labour Act and registered under the BOCW Act. All the principal employers are to submit the Annual Return in Form XXV under Contract Labour Rules. Please submit the above returns on or before 31 Jan 2012.

Attaching a file that will be useful for everyone for the compilation of data for the preparation of the Annual Return.

Dear Sir, Is it possible for you to send the attachment in Excel 2007 format again because it has been discovered that the file is corrupted.

Reminder for Submission of Labour Returns

31 January is the last day for submitting the half-yearly and annual returns to the concerned Labour Office. I hope everybody has submitted the same. If not, please complete it by the due date to avoid unwanted notices from government officials.

Now you might have made all the payments up to June 2012 to all your workers. You can compile all the details required for sending the Form XXIV under the Contract Labour Act (Rule 82(1) of Contract Labour Rules) and submit the same within the timeframe, i.e., 31 July 2012.

Submission of Half-Yearly and Annual Returns

Now that January is coming to an end, shall we submit our Half-yearly and Annual Returns to the concerned authorities? If you are in Tamil Nadu, please do not forget to submit the Half-yearly return as per the Interstate Migrant Workmen Act.
