Traveling Policy Queries

I have found a query regarding the Traveling Policy. My query is as follows:

1. If any staff employees other than Marketing Personnel are traveling at night, what policies apply?
2. If there is a weekly off during the travel period, how can it be compensated? I want to know what other facilities we can provide on behalf of their weekly off during transit.
3. If there is a helper accompanying the supervisor or marketing engineer, how will they be compensated? Please suggest if you have any policy relating to all types of employees.

Dear Amit,

Traveling Allowance for Night Travel

Answer to No. 1 point - It's clear that if any person is traveling at night, they are authorized for a traveling allowance and to travel by their authorized class as per their grade. If any outstation allowance is applicable, it must be authorized for them, and if not, they should be reimbursed for their full expenditure.

Weekly Off During Traveling

Answer to No. 2 point - There is no weekly off during traveling; all the days of traveling and outstation are treated as duty days. To provide a weekly off, you can choose a non-working day or any day to give them rest, but everything will be in full pay. This leniency is provided due to outstation (traveling) and other areas of work.

Compensation for Accompanying Helpers

Answer to No. 3 point - The helper can be accommodated with the supervisor, or they can be authorized to travel according to their grade, and they will be compensated with reimbursement of their actual expenses along with outstation expenses. Alternatively, you can authorize them an amount for outstation expenses.

With regard to the traveling policy, you can get in touch with me via email or call me directly.

Happy New Year 2012 with lots of aspirations and good wishes.

Regards,
